At Cognitiveworks , we believe that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth, and we are committed to providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for our clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. We view therapy as a partnership, where we work together to identify and overcome obstacles, build resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and empowerment.
Here’s your guide to staying calm amidst life’s chaos. Cultivate mindfulness and create a space of peace within.
Practice mindfulness meditation to cultivate present-moment awareness. Set aside a few minutes each day to sit quietly and focus on your breath or the sensations in your body.
Practice deep breathing exercises to calm your mind and body. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Engage in yoga practice to combine physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation. Yoga can help improve flexibility , reduce stress , and enhance mindfulness.
Keep a journal to reflect on your thoughts, emotions and experiences. Writing can help you gain insights, process your feelings, and cultivate self-awareness.
Assessment is a crucial part of the therapeutic process, as it helps us to understand the clients unique needs, challenges, and strengths. Through thorough assessment, we can collaboratively develop a treatment plan tailored to the specific goals and circumstances.
My son was battling depression since 2016. He was taking therapy, he was put on medication but it wasn’t working for him. Medication worsened his condition further. His suffering affected the whole family. At one point it was so bad that I was overwhelmed with the situation and couldn’t handle my own emotions. That is when I approached to Dr. Kalpana Nanda.

Finding the right therapist felt like an endless journey for years, to the point where I almost gave up on the idea that genuine help even existed. There were times I just relied on self-diagnosis to get through the deepest struggles.
Then came Dr. Kalpana. Her belief that she could truly help me was somethi..........
I came across Dr. Kalpana through my yoga instructor when I needed help with a family issue. She supported my family so much that, eventually, when I was going through a tough time myself, I started therapy with her too. Dr. Kalpana is an absolute gem. Talking to her feels like talking to a wise, caring friend who truly listens without judgement.

I lost my husband in 2013, and it completely changed my son, who was 14 at the time. He sank into a deep depression, and things got so hard that we could barely recognize who we were anymore. He became my only reason to keep going after that loss.
